This webpage supplements the main DWR climate change webpage with additional climate change activities conducted by the Bay-Delta Office. The goal of these activities is to coordinate with other divisions in DWR, and other state and federal agencies to develop and apply analysis tools and techniques to inform the decision making process on potential risks and impacts of climate change on California’s water resources and the effects of potential adaptation measures. 			DWR Article in Climatic Change Journal An article co-authored by Department of Water Resources (DWR) staff titled “Progress on Incorporating Climate Change into Management of California’s Water Resources” appears in the March 2008 special issue of Climatic Change focusing on California at a Crossroads: Climate Change Science Informing Policy. 			DWR Climate Change Report, July 2006 DWR has released “Progress on Incorporating Climate Change into Management of California’s Water Resources.” This report responds to the Governor’s Executive Order S-3-05 requiring biennial reports on climate change impacts to various areas including water resources. It provides information on potential impacts of selected climate change scenarios to operations of the State Water Project and Central Valley Project, Delta water quality, flood management and evapotranspiration. The technical chapters of this report underwent an external peer review. You may request the report as a hard copy by contacting the Department of Water Resources Publications and Paperwork Management Unit at (916) 653-1097 or imr-publications@water.ca.gov. Reports are $20 each for the first 3 copies and $50 for each additional copy. (07/10/06)
