Summary of Features for IWFM Component Versions
This document lists components of IWFM that offer multiple versions with different simulation features and a summary of these features.
This file includes both the 32 bit and 64 bit executable files for IWFM-2015 (Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget). When unzipped, the files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget. These executables are created by Intel Visual Fortran XE 184.108.40.2060 compiler. 64 bit executables have "x64" as part of their filename (e.g. "Simulation2015_x64.exe"). Executables with "D" extension (e.g. "Simulation2015_x64_D.exe") are in debug mode. It is recommended that the executables in debug mode are used when building a model from scratch. Once the model is built and debugged, the executables in release mode (e.g. "Simulation2015_x64.exe") can be used for production.
Templates for Input Files
This file includes the templates for input files that are necessary to run Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget parts of IWFM-2015. When unzipped, these files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget.
This file contains the Fortran source code for IWFM-2015 that are required to create Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget executables. The source code has been compiled and tested using Intel Visual Fortran XE 220.127.116.110. When unzipped, the files will be restored into predefined directories. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 configuration files have also been included for users interested in compiling the source code using Intel Visual Fortran and building the IWFM executables from scratch. The main configuration file, "BuildAll.sln" solution file, can be found under the folder "BuildAll". This solution file can be opened with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and the IWFM executables can be built from scratch. The executables will be saved under the folder "Bin".
This file contains the IWFM input and output files for a sample model. A description of the model is also included. When unzipped, the files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget.
IWFM documentation is available in PDF format. The complete documentation consists of three .pdf files: Theoretical Documentation, detailing the principles, theories, and assumptions that form the engine for IWFM, a User's Manual which is a guide for individuals using IWFM for various applications, and the documentation for the sub-domain water budgetting post-processor (Z-Budget).
