Notes on IWFM v3.0
This document lists the modifications and enhancements that are included in IWFM v3.0.
Executables
This file includes the executable files for IWFM v3.0 (Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget). When unzipped, the files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget. These executables are created by Compaq Visual Fortran v6.6C compiler.
Templates for Input Files
This file includes the templates for input files that are necessary to run Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget parts of IWFM v3.0. When unzipped, these files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget.
Source Code
This file contains the Fortran source code for IWFM v3.0 and a set of files that are required to create Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget executables. The source code is generated to be compiled by Compaq Visual Fortran v6.6C. When unzipped, the files will be restored into 6 predefined directories:
1) Common (includes source code used commonly by more than one executable file)
2) Interface (includes interface files for Preprocessor and Simulation subroutines)
3) Preprocessor (includes main program and subroutines for Preprocessor)
4) Simulation (includes main program and subroutines for Simulation)
5) Budget (includes main program and subroutines for Budget)
6) Z-Budget (includes main program and subroutines for Z-Budget)
Sample Problem
This file contains the IWFM input and output files for a sample problem. A description of the problem is also included. When unzipped, the files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget.
Documentation
IWFM documentation is available in PDF format. The complete documentation consists of three .pdf files: Theoretical Documentation, detailing the principles, theories, and assumptions that form the engine for IWFM, a Users Manual which is a guide for individuals using IWFM for various applications, and the documentation for the sub-domain water budgetting post-processor (Z-Budget).
