IWFM: Integrated Water Flow Model Version 3.02.110

Release Notes
This document lists the modifications and enhancements that are included in IWFM v3.02.110.

Executables
This file includes the executable files for IWFM v3.02.110 (Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget). When unzipped, the files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget. These executables are created by Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 14.0.0.103 compiler. 64-bit executables have "x64" as part of their filename (e.g. "Simulation3_02_x64.exe"). Executables with "D" extension (e.g. "SimulationD3_02.exe") are in debug mode. It is recommended that the executables in debug mode are used when building a model from scratch. Once the model is built and debugged, the executables in release mode (e.g. "Simulation3_02.exe") can be used for production.

Templates for Input Files
This file includes the templates for input files that are necessary to run Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget parts of IWFM v3.02.110. When unzipped, these files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget.

Source Code
This file contains the Fortran source code for IWFM v3.02.110 and for IWFM_Util library that is required to create Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget executables. The source code has been compiled and tested using Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 14.0.0.103. When unzipped, the files will be restored into 7 predefined directories:
1) Common (includes source code used commonly by more than one executable file)
2) Interface (includes interface files for Preprocessor and Simulation subroutines)
3) Preprocessor (includes main program and subroutines for Preprocessor)
4) Simulation (includes main program and subroutines for Simulation)
5) Budget (includes main program and subroutines for Budget)
6) Z-Budget (includes main program and subroutines for Z-Budget)
7) IWM_Util (includes procedures to build the IWFM utility library)
There are many source files and complex dependencies between these files. To help the user in building the executables, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 solution and project files are also included with the source code. These files will be saved under "BuildAll" folder. "BuildAll_v3.02.sln" file under this folder can be opened from Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and all IWFM executables can be re-built.

Sample Problem
This file contains the IWFM input and output files for a sample problem. A description of the problem is also included. When unzipped, the files will be restored into predefined directories, namely Preprocessor, Simulation, Budget, and Z-Budget.

Documentation
IWFM documentation is available in PDF format. The complete documentation consists of three .pdf files: Theoretical Documentation, detailing the principles, theories, and assumptions that form the engine for IWFM, a User's Manual which is a guide for individuals using IWFM for various applications, and the documentation for the sub-domain water budgetting post-processor (Z-Budget).
