The following report on the Aeration Facility Project is for your information. This report will be transmitted whenever changes occur to the operation of the aeration facility, and as a result of data monitoring of dissolved oxygen in the Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel.
As a part of ongoing pulse tests, the Aeration Facility was
turned on Monday, June 23, 2008 at about 9:45 a.m. The
system was operated at full capacity with oxygenated water with a dissolved
oxygen (DO) level in the upper 30 mg/l range. Water was discharged into the Stockton
Deep Water Ship Channel (DWSC) for four full days ending Friday, June 27, 2008
at about 10:00 a.m. The system will be
off for the next three days and will be turned back on Monday, June 30, 2008 at
about 9:00 a.m. Below is a draft plot of
